What a lovely hotel loctated in a very quiet village just off a590. Janet was lovely on reception, very helpful and always happy and smiley... the manager was polite and helpful when seeing him passing. Outstanding service from breakfast and evening staff, especially Gemma, Kyle and everybody else working. Thank you Whitewater hotel! 😊

Another lovely stay. Meals exceptional and I can’t complement all of the staff that we’re working this weekend. Everyone was friendly, helpful and went above and beyond. Thank you Walkability: Great walks from the hotel

Hotel was lovely, very beautiful, a little dated for some, but ideal for us. The family room was large and comfortable, a little warm, but rather that than cold. The pool area was good, pool was large, maybe a little cold for some. Only …

Absolutely lovely time here. We booked 3 day stay just after Christmas as it was bliss. Room was huge, so was the ensuite, shower and a separate bath. Big balcony as well. Staff are incredible!! Such attention to detail and the food is lovely. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

For a last minute booking it was extremely helpful, as our previously booked hotel was out of service due to the snow. The rooms were relatively comfy but got too hot especially at night. They had complementary cookies and teas on the side bench of the room, which was lovely. The view from our window was very pretty especially in the morning, so the location from an aesthetics point of view was quite nice with all the melting snow. The distance from the hotel to other areas was quite far and not in-walking distance, so vehicle travel will be a must if you stay here. The complimentary breakfast was OK, would be better if it was in a buffet format rather than order-format. The service was alright, the receptionists were always very kind to us. The restaurant server had a bit of a quirk the first night we were around, but the bar staff were very sweet especially ordering something quick for me to eat after the lunch cooking period had finished. Additionally, the wait-time for dinner was extremely long and it took about 50 minutes for food to come out after we had initially ordered it and it was about 25 minutes for dessert. Would recommend for a short-stay but go elsewhere for dinner especially. Walkability: Walking around the hotel is nice, everything was relatively close together the only annoyance was the amount of stairs.

Without doubt some of the kindest people around. ||Despite being under pressure during a snowstorm, the staff at the Hotel found a room for my partner who had been driving for 8 hours. It was getting dark, the roads were icy and he was far …

Very friendly staff, good clean rooms. The breakfast was spot on and the evening meals were very good too. The young girl at breakfast is cheeky but in a very pleasant way (very sorry I forgot her name, she will have me when we go back) she …

Beautiful hotel in stunning location. We had a beautiful room that was so comfortable. The leisure centre was great. Good choice of breakfasts, and did in the restaurant is very good. The one downfall- the lift was out of order and we were on the 3rd floor. Rooms: Our room was massive and luxurious. So comfortable Food & drinks: Well stocked bar and good food in restaurant.

Wow what a beautiful location for this lovely hotel. There is so much history in the building. Staff were fantastic on check in and our room was lovely with a huge bathroom and shared balcony. Hotel was very busy as it was bank holiday weekend but nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The food was lovely and we really enjoyed everything.
