A wonderful venue, very well maintained and of a fantastic value

A great place to stay for exploring the Lake District. The cottage we stayed in was warm, cosy and had everything we needed. The views looking out towards Ulverston are amazing, especially when sitting in the hot tub and watching the sun go down! I have no hesitation in recommending Bigland Hall Cottages and hope to be back again in the near future.

What a great place to stay, quiet and beautiful views. The Keepers Cottage was fabulous, everything you could ask for big enough for 5 adults to relax, but not be on top of each other. The area is great for exploring and only a short car journey from plenty of attractions. Don't miss out on an opportunity to stay.

Our second visit to this wonderful place to stay. It is ideal for visiting the South and West Lakes. The accommodation is first class and every detail has been thought of to make it home from home. Thoroughly recommend!

Fantastic accommodation. Great size, comfy beds and very clean.

Great accommodation and the staff were very friendly...if you want bright lights and entertainment on tap you'd better take them yourself, if you want peace and quiet out of the way after a long day exploring, then this is the place to go. Buildings with stacks of character and space and the views were outstanding...just like Arnie said...I'll be back.

Just had the best weekend away here. We were all absolutely blown away by the level of luxury and comfort this place has to offer. Everything is so modern and impeccably clean. Plus, for a self-catering accommodation, practically everything you need is provided. They have thought of everything possible, and gone above and beyond to make your stay as lovely as possible. Having a hot tub and heated bathroom floors for the weekend was pure bliss. Thank you so much for everything; none of us have ever stayed anywhere quite so amazing. We're sorry, we forgot to sign the guestbook, but I'm absolutely certain we'll be back soon!

Very well equipped, located and run. I would definitely return again! The condition of Hazel Cottage was excellent and after a long day walking it was a pleasure to settle into the hot tub with a long cold drink and relax!

Really good experience.. Owner left us to it, cottage was clean and well equipped. Only slight issue is that it is in a little bit of a remote area - but still great nonetheless!
